Pet owners probably get more anxious about taking their animals to the vet than they do about going to the doctors themselves. When building their new 11,000 square foot clinic it was important for the Larkmead Veterinary Group to create a building that provided practical facilities and a warm welcoming environment for their customers. The green oak frame uses a strutted truss with an extensive upper collar which allows a large unsupported span to be achieved. Externally the overhanging eaves provide character and interest to the building as well as protection from the weather for visitors.
