Scaffolding in place so that work on the sails could be undertaken
The sail hub suffering from rot, earlier repairs had allowed water to become trapped in the shakes in the timber
Splits in some of the main timbers had been packed to try and protect them, clearing them and allowing the timber to breath was considered sufficient for many of them
Ongoing repairs often involve fairly minor patching in vulnerable areas
