Who we work with

Teamwork is important in all aspects of building, but, for conservation, restoration and repair – it is essential.

Carpenter Oak & Woodland has a proven track record of working with all parties involved in oak frame conservation, restoration and repair projects.

Conservation and preservation bodies

We have undertaken many successful oak frame projects for leading conservation bodies, such as English Heritage, Historic Scotland and the National Trust.

Commercial organisations and charities

We work successfully for organisations such as Landmark Trust, a building-preservation charity which restores historic and architecturally interesting buildings – and then makes them available as unique holiday properties.

Conversation architects

We work with leading conservation architects, helping to conserve and restore all manner of buildings, from the everyday to the historic. Our unparallelled experience in oak timber-frame conservation, restoration and repair can be drawn upon by conservation architects, to help to restore buildings with oak timber frames - in the most effective way possible.
