Hilly Field House

This is a small but fairly complex structure that creates a new timber framed kitchen, garden room and bedroom extension to an existing house.

Resolving the roof geometry successfully was key to the project and as always we like to ensure that all the foreseeable problems are ironed out whilst still on the drawing board.  Mistakes in the frame configuration that make their way beyond this can be expensive and impact on the clients building programme.

The interfacing with the rest of the building at several levels requires good collaboration with the architect and project engineer during the design phase and with the builder or main contractor once on site.
