As a busy and successful timber-framed building company, we’re always working on several exciting – and often prestigious – projects.
With land for new buildings a scarce resource under current planning legislation a common route these days is to buy a plot with a property that is ripe for demolition. This was the long term plan for owners of a less than desirable 1970’s bungalow near Corsham, Wiltshire.
Despite some planning challenges and a fairly limited budget our clients were determined that they would not compromise on the quality of the their new home and they were adamant that an oak framed house was what they wanted.
