590 years ago English oaks were felled, hewn, cut and raised to form an eight bay aisled barn at Charlton Court in West Sussex, in 1994 it was well overdue for some tender loving care!
The Burlington Family had travelled widely for many years, on returning to the UK they were keen to build a timber framed house that incorporated the best of the homes they had lived in.
