Building for a future Winter 06-07

Over 3 issues of Building for a Future, Oliver Lowenstein looks at the main players in Scottish architecture using timber as a core material.

How our work is featured

Oliver Lowenstein debates the resurgence in the use of timber in the construction industry and in particular in Scotland. He discusses its use in a number of high profile projects including ECOSpace at Lauder College in Dunfermline, an engineered timber frame designed by RMJM architects, built by Carpenter Oak & Woodland and erected on site during 2006.
