Timber frame building methods are amongst the oldest and most versatile forms and they are becoming increasing popular as governments and individuals throughout the world embrace ‘green’ issues. One of the great benefits of an oak timber framed building is the use of sustainable and environmentally friendly materials.
Carpenter Oak and Woodland have built many timber framed buildings that incorporate spectacular interiors that can be created by using traditional materials and methods of building for private homes, indoor swimming pools and kit houses which are indistinguishable from other types of bespoke homes Examples of which are featured in the Kit and Modern Timber Frame Homes pages 15, 32, 76 and 126.
